Katherine is a illustrator based in Somerset, UK. She uses a unique mix of both traditional and digital media to create her detailed pencil drawings.

Katherine became interested in narrative Illustration and children's books while studying Visual Communication at university. After graduating, she completed a residency course in the School of Visual Arts in New York. Shortly afterwards, her drawings attracted the attention of independent publisher of Scottish folk-tales, 'Serafina Press'. In 2012 her first children's book was published and she
completed a second title in 2014. Katherine also practices as an artist selling paintings and prints, and as a designer selling bespoke homeware products under 'Katherine O'Shea Designs'. She also works part-time at independant art school, Clayhill Arts, designing their curriculum of creative workshops and is always happy to hear from potenial new tutors.

She is currently represented by Ikon Images for licensing work.
